Is telephone a wireless network?

A telephone network is a telecommunications network that connects telephones, which allows telephone calls between two or more parties, as well as newer features such as fax and internet. ... A wireless network where the telephones are mobile and can move around anywhere within the coverage area.

What is telecommunications network architecture?

An abstract generic system model and methodology that form the Telecommunications Network Architecture (TNA) are described. The model represents controls and communication functions required for the transfer of information within a node or a network of nodes providing any service (message, packet, or voice).

What is difference between telecommunication and networking?

Telecommunication is the transfer of information or data through a distance in the form of electromagnetic signals at the receptive ends of one another. On the other hand, Networking is the process of interconnecting devices to a main system also known as the server.

Is the computer network that uses public telecommunication?

Wide Area Network (WAN): the opposite of the LAN. It links computers over large geographical areas. This network usually makes use of the public telecommunications network.

What is telecommunication media?

telecommunications media, equipment and systems—metal wire, terrestrial and satellite radio, and optical fibre—employed in the transmission of electromagnetic signals.

What is modern telecommunication?

Modern telecommunication centres on the problems involved in transmitting large volumes of information over long distances without damaging loss due to noise and interference. The basic components of a modern digital telecommunications system must be capable of transmitting voice, data, radio, and television signals.

What is network technology?

Network Technology involves the use of data systems to manage and deliver digital resources over a computer network. A variety of industries use computer hardware and system software that maintains a network, creating a need for specialists to manage them.

What are the 3 types of network?

LAN, MAN, and WAN are the three major types of the network designed to operate over the area they cover.
